CAD	CAD functions are based on 3D solid modeling-the first system of this type in the world. An operator can create a drawing accurately and quickly while viewing the geometry of a product. All operations are possible by selecting and clicking an object by using a mouse-simple even for an inexperienced operator.
CAM	The sophisticated CAM functions of the Mazak Smart System-functions such as random nesting, plus nesting, nesting in arbitrary shape sheet materials, fully automatic punch determination, and post processor-automatically process work that can only be handled by skilled operators with conventional production equipment. The result is a remarkable reduction in the time for machine data preparation.
